The CDA is a cylindrical airbox in real carbon fibre containing a washable and reuseable filtering element. The CDA system allows cold air to be channelled directly into the engine compared to open air pod systems which channel hot air. The CDA system channels only cold air as the Carbon Fibre deflects and sheilds the filter from engine heat. This increase in cold air flow has been proven to increase performance and power during extensive dyno and track testing.
